Discover the Bedrock Process™ in under 30 minutes.

If you've grown your wealth, and you're ready to build your legacy, let's explore how we can work together to coordinate your taxes, stock compensation, investments, and charitable inclinations to build a rock solid retirement income plan.

What does the first meeting look like?

Our first meeting is a conversation.

During our 30-minute Discovery Call, we’ll spend most of the time learning about you—your goals, concerns, family, career, retirement plans, and the decisions you’re facing. We’ll ask questions, listen carefully, and by the end of the meeting, you’ll have a better understanding of whether we’re the right fit for each other.

How do you charge for your services?

We are a fee-only fiduciary advisory firm.
Most clients pay a percentage of the assets we manage on their behalf. Our fee covers investment management, financial planning, retirement planning, tax planning, coordination with attorneys and accountants, and ongoing advice throughout the year.
We do not earn commissions, sell products, or receive compensation from investment companies.

Our success is directly tied to our clients’ success.

Do you work with clients outside of Minnesota?
Yes. While our office is located in St. Paul, Minnesota, we work with clients throughout the United States. Most meetings are conducted virtually, allowing us to serve busy professionals, executives, retirees, and families regardless of where they live.
What makes you different from other advisors?

Most advisors focus on investments.
We focus on helping successful people make better financial decisions.

Investments matter, but they are only one piece of the puzzle. The biggest opportunities for many families often involve taxes, retirement income planning, stock compensation, Social Security, charitable giving, estate planning, and avoiding costly mistakes during major life transitions.

Our clients hire us because they want a trusted partner who can help simplify complexity and provide confidence in the decisions they’re making.

How long does it take to create a financial plan?

The honest answer is that a financial plan is never truly finished.

By the time most people come to us, they’ve already done some form of financial planning. They have accounts, goals, investments, retirement aspirations, and ideas about where they’re headed.

Our job isn’t to create a thick binder that sits on a shelf. Our job is to help turn a good plan into reality.

We’ll typically build and refine the initial framework during the first few months of our relationship. But the real value comes afterward—making adjustments as life changes, opportunities arise, tax laws evolve, and new decisions need to be made.

The best financial plans are living, breathing tools that evolve alongside your life.

Is there a minimum investment requirement?

We generally work with individuals and families who have at least $1 million of investable assets or are on a clear path toward that level.

That said, we don’t believe great financial planning should be reduced to a single number.

We regularly work with executives, professionals, and retirees whose financial situations are becoming more complex and who value ongoing advice.

If we’re not the right fit, we’re happy to point you in the right direction.

You Deserve to Focus On What Matters Most (Hint: It's not money)

We're a nationally recognized team, among the Top 10 St. Paul Advisors, and a Top 100 Advisor in the United States. We'll take great care of you.
